Where to ride

MTB

There is a nice network of trails around Joensuu, but also elsewhere in North Karelia

The tracks of a Jaama Trail, Harjupolut, Kontiopolut, Lykynpolut and Kinttupolut offer a continuous network of well-marked trails of more than 200km in Joensuu, Kontiolahti and Liperi municipalities!

In Kitee (accessible by train from Joensuu), Tohmajärvi and Kesälahti you can find the Karelianpolut-trails

We also recommend the application Trail map, where Joensuu region paths are classified by difficulties. You can see also heat maps on a 3D topographic map etc.

In Winter time thew is short trails maintained in Pärnävaara, Lykynlampi and from the Biathlon stadium (also used by pedestrians)

You can find links to different pages as well as some GPX files of our riders from our pages
